2017-2018 GHES Yearbooks!– It’s that time of year again to order your Yearbooks! Please see Ms. Rykoskey or Mrs. Vactor to purchase. Cost: $22 (checks payable to GHES) or cash accepted. Online orders can be made using a credit card at the link below:

Pre-K Registration – Pre-K Registration will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 9:00a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Glen Haven Elementary School. Interested parents should call the Pre-K office to set up a time to register at 301-230-0676. Kindergarten Orientation – Do you have a child that will be 5 years old by September 1, 2018? If yes, then you can register your child for Kindergarten. Orientation will take place at Glen Haven ES on Thursday, May 3 and Friday, May 4 from 9:15 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Please call Ms. Perez at 301-649-8051 to set up your appointment for either day. *Please note- there will be NO Kindergarten classes for students currently (2017-2018) in Kindergarten on May 3 and May 4. All other grade levels (1st-5th) will have school on both days.*

Free English Class – Free English Class will meet every Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. This class will focus on conversational English and Language skills. Please come and join us!

Skher Brown and the Dancing Warriors Ensemble – On April 14 at 11am come see a free performance of Capoeira Angola, an Afro-Brasilian art form that draws from dance, martial arts, music, and stories of distant lands.
