Read-A-Thon – Get your children excited about reading with the READ-A-THON!  Your child has already been sent home with his/her/they Read-A-Thon Reading Adventure sheet. This sheet has step by step instructions on how to register your child.  It also includes their individual code for registration.  The read-a-thon begins on February 26 and will end on March 9.  Another read-a-thon paper should be sent home again this week.

 

Free English Class – Free English Class will meet every Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. This class will focus on conversational English and Language skills. Please come and join us!

 

Glen Haven Yearbook – Glen Haven ES 2017-2018 Yearbooks are now on sale! Please see Ms. Rykoskey or Mrs. Vactor to purchase yours today.  The cost is $22.00 and yearbook purchases can also be made online at https://classic-photo.mypaysimple.com/s/glen-haven-elementary-school

To order on line:

  1. Click the above link to go to school online ordering site.
  2. Select the Add to Cart Tab
  3. Enter number of yearbooks to be ordered using the + or – (it will default to 1 book)
  4. Enter Student Name and Teacher (Fields provided for 1 student name and teacher will be

required and there are 2 additional fields for a total of 3 students)

5.Enter Add to Cart when finished

6.Items will be added to cart and return to main screen

7.Click on the Shopping Cart in the top right hand corner to review order and checkout!

  • 2/19 – President’s Day– School and Offices Closed
  • 2/22 – Staff Appreciation Annual Chili Luncheon for Teachers/Staff from 11:00am -2pm
  • 2/23 – Family Movie Night – Doors open at 6:30pm and the movie, Horton Hears a Who!, starts at 7:00pm! Concessions will be for sale! Wear your PJs and bring a blanket to sit on. This is NOT a drop off event.  A parent or guardian must be present.
