PTA Nominating Committee – The Glen Haven PTA needs to constitute the Nominating Committee in preparation for the election of the 2018-2019 Board which takes place in May. It is the responsibility of the nominating committee to recognize and seek qualified nominees for the elected leadership of the PTA.
The committee’s recommendation becomes the slate of candidates that is presented to the PTA membership. It is a critical role for our organization and sets the stage for the successful transition of PTA duties from one school year to the next and the continued growth of our wonderful PTA.
Please contact the PTA president, Amanda Schoch, at president@ghespta.org, with your interest to serve on the nominating committee or with any questions you have. (Please note: being a member of the committee does not preclude you from being considered and put forth as a nominee for one of the elected positions.)
Reminder: Federal Impact Aid Forms – Please fill out the Federal Impact Aid Forms and return them to Glen Haven Elementary School. This form is a one page survey that asks about active-duty military and government employment. The number of forms returned will impact the amount of grant money provided to GHES through the Federal Impact Aid Program. Please turn in these forms!!
