Reflex Math: We are excited to support third grade teachers Ms. Caruso and Ms. Fox as they fundraise to bring Reflex Math to the school. What is Reflex Math? It’s a computer game that helps kids improve their math facts. You can help two ways – do either or both!
* Donate $ to the Cause: Head over to their Donors Choose page (it’s like GoFundMe for teachers) and make a donation.
* Donate Clothing to the Cause: Clean out your closets and help bring Reflex Math to our school at the same time! The PTA, Ms. Caruso and Ms Fox will be jointly hosting a fundraiser, collecting clothing and small household items for the Unique Thrift Store in Wheaton. Bring your stuff to the school by September 12. The Unique Thrift Store will then donate $ back to the PTA, based on the weight of the clothing and items donated!

This Week
Thursday: Teacher Breakfast! We need your help with the upcoming Back to School breakfast for our teachers and staff. Click here to volunteer to donate a food item, item for our teacher giveaway – or sign up to help with the event.
Friday: Open House and PTA Ice Cream Social from 1-3. Head over to Glen Haven to meet your teachers and stop by the PTA table to become a member, get some ice cream.

9/7 – Back to School Night for PreK- 2nd Grade (6:30-8:00) Stop by our PTA table to learn more and join!
9/8 – Back to School Night for 3rd-5th Grade (6:30-8:00) Stop by our PTA table to learn more and join!
9/12 – NO SCHOOL!
9/13 – Our First PTA Meeting! Arrive at 6:30 for dinner and socializing. The meeting will start at 7. Come by to meet your PTA and learn more about our goals for the year! Free childcare will be provided by Alphabest.
